See it in person this month
Triple Dipped Purple Wizards is the defining work of the Dauntless Indignant Geography Series — a large-scale composition built from saturated fields of black, blue, and purple, layered with directional marks, fractured grids, and charged linear pathways.
“Does your mind quiet as loud as a hummingbird’s flight or as soft as a thunderstorm?”
The work is on public view through May 31 as part of the Continuum Alumni Exhibition. This weekend—Art-A-Whirl, May 15–17—is the easiest opportunity to see it with no appointment needed.

His work is held in permanent collections at the University of Minnesota and Anoka Ramsey Community College. Gregory has been featured in MinnPost, the University of Minnesota's College of Liberal Arts, and the West Central Tribune. He curated "Change is God: Root Among the Stars, Black Abstraction in the Midwest" at Soo Visual Arts Center in Minneapolis.
As a visual stenographer, Gregory paints the evocative and visceral intimate moments of everyday life—the corner, the cul-de-sac, the market place—translating street memory and lived experience into dense mixed-media abstraction. View his full portfolio →
